The New Place

Thankfully, we got the new place mostly unpacked and moved in that weekend right after we moved in on Thursday.  Over the last week we've been getting every little last thing unpacked and are officially all the way moved in.  We still have little tweaks here and there, but overall...it's nice to just be living in our new space.  I'll get some pictures of our place in here and just some randoms that we've taken over the last week.

The bathroom and kitchen window didn't have blinds or curtains.  So I just made some last weekend and put them on a tiny tension rod.  (They look way nicer during the day with the light :) )

They both have pull back cords to hold them open during the day.

It's also been windy and rainy over the last week.  But the stormy mountains... man it's a pretty sight!!

(The walls are a bit more empty than I'm used to.  We're not really supposed to nail anything up so we mostly only hung things that could be supported with thumb tacks.)

 We have this shelf in the hall against the utilities room... It's still gotta be organized a bit, but it will just be basic storage.  It's mostly my craft stuff and games.

Annnnnd I forgot to take pictures of our bedroom because Jim was sleeping when I took a lot of the pictures.  Oh well,  it's nothing exciting.  Pretty much just a bed, clothes, craft table and TV.  Woohoo!  

He loves looking out the big window.  Especially at the rain.  (His hair in this picture makes his head look super pointy, haha!)

There was a big sale on shoes so we decided to get a pair for Jimmie since he has started walking all over the place.  All of the shoes we have for him are a little too big.  These are nice because they are "soft soled" so he is still able to feel the ground and feel how to walk.

We love the playground at the end of the street.  It's a very nice playground, park, and pavilion for eating.
