Vacation to Atlantic City!

At the end of August, we were able to do a little family vacation before school started! Janelle's family came down from Boston and Geoff was able to fly in from Chicago for a bit and Megan was visiting home on her break from teaching.
Since I'm so far behind on the blog, I'm pretty much just going to let the pictures do the talking.
These pictures have gotten all out of order... and I'm just going to let them stay that way. So enjoyed some jumbled snapshots from the trip :)

On the way down to the shore, we decided to spend a day at the Cape May Zoo.

Jimmie was SUPER excited to go!

Lorelei didn't love the zoo too much. She DID love the ZEBRAS though!

Some hams in front of the aquarium

Hi, fishies!!

Most of the kids were afraid to touch the sharks. Not Lorelei!

One day we went to the Steel Pier with Evan, Meg, and Grandpa. We had a BLAST!

Jimmie, Mommy, & Evan. These swings went out over the water and Jimmie was amazed by them!

Little Miss L on her Merry-Go-Round horse

Always playing Rook. This hand was so unbelievably bad, I needed to take a picture

On the last morning, we went down to the beach to fly some kites!

The wind wasn't great, but Grandpa was showing us how it's done.

Lucy giving it a shot

Lorelei even wanted to try.... with some help

Steph & Dawson

Jimmie eventually got his kite going too.... in the picturesque scene that is between a dumpster and a trash can...hahaha

Grandma, Dawson, & Lorelei

Big cheese!

He doesn't care for the water much...but he would play in the sand forever!

We're pretty lucky to have such awesome parents/grandparents to make these fun things happen and take such good care of us!!
