Family Comes to Visit from Boston and Seattle!

At the end of May, my sister Stephanie and her son Karsten came to visit for 2 weeks.  For the second half of that visit (first week in June), Janelle, came to visit with her husband and 3 kids.  It was a blast to be able to see them all and spend that time together! Here are some pictures from their visit:

Janelle swimming with Jimmie in the pool...or as Jimmie calls it, the "cool"

Lucy (Janelle's daughter) is just a few months younger than Jimmie.  And she's a total sweetheart.

Just a few days before the Robertson's got here-Jimmie took a tumble on the stairs going from the kitchen to the laundry room and his eye hit the side of the stair. So, he has an awesome (pretty gross) black eye in basically every picture I took for 2 weeks.

Karsten and Jimmie on the float.

Janelle's long time friend, Lindsay was able to stop by with her daughter is is the same age as the Jimmie-Lucy-Karsten group.  It was fun to get to see them!

Cousin fun with the water table!

We got to go down to Royal Crown to get some delicious ice cream!

Unfortunately, Jimmie was coming down with a fever and wasn't too interested in this outing.

Looks like Alan and James didn't enjoy it at all ;)

And Dad and Evan... well, I think it was enjoyed by all.

We also got a chance to go over to Johnson's farm to see the animals and play in their play areas.

Alan and James being silly and waiting for their hot dogs!

Not a great shot- but a shot of all 3 cousins that are the same age on the swing

We did a lot of walks while these guys were here.  It was a lot of fun!

The 3 cousins enjoying some fruit snack post-walk

We're also lucky enough to have Great Grandma Foulk close by!  We got to visit her and she, of course, spoiled us all with cookies and muffins.

It's not a usual thing to have a lot of other people up in the early hours of the morning.  Normally it's just Jimmie, myself, and sometimes Lorelei.  But this was fun because we had 3 that same age and all of them seemed to like to wake up early.  And if not... they probably heard their cousins being loud at 6 am and though they'd join them ;)
Here's Lucy and Jimmie waiting for breakfast one morning.

Karsten and Jimmie being silly guys together and laying on Ginny's (the dog's) bed!

Apparently they like bananas.  Together-they finished nearly an entire big bunch of them one day after a nap!
