The Motorcycle

Well, most of you know this as well, but we got a motorcycle last month! I've been putting off posting about it because I wanted to post everything at once (...the purchase, the acquisition of a license and safety class, the improvements made, etc)  The bike is a Honda CBR250r.  It's a great beginning bike and I feel much more educated on motorcycles and how everything works.

Here's Jimmie in his full gear. 

 He's got his armored jacket, riding gloves, and his helmet so that he's good and protected.

Since we've bought the bike, Jimmie has taken the motorcycle safety course and passed the course with flying colors.  Now he has his motorcycle license! We've had really lovely weather recently to allow for plenty of practice and it's been really good.

You can tell in the video I was still a little bit nervous about him riding the bike.

However, he's gotten much butter since that day within the last two weeks and I've even had a chance to ride on it.  The first time I was VERY scared but upon talking to some other people about being a passenger on a bike, I decided to give it another shot.  I must have just been positioned strange the first time because the second time, I enjoyed it a ton and wasn't scared.  It was very windy and felt like we were going faster than the 30mph than we were...but it was a nice experience :)

It was also good because I was able to see how careful he is on the bike and made me even more confident in his riding abilities, knowledge, and precautions. 

I think he likes it..just a little :)
