April Time!

I wanted to get anything I hadn't posted yet up before Tuesday because Megan is coming to visit and Mom is coming to visit right after that and I'll probably have stuff to post then. Time to finish getting caught up!

In Utah, it doesn't seem to matter what month it is.  It snows whenever it wants to :)  This was earlier in the month.  It was a lot worse before I got out to take this picture.

We had a pretty good Easter, aside from me getting sick on the actual day.  We dyed eggs the day before, except Jimmie let me do most of them because he could tell I was enjoying it a lot more than he cared to do it :) So I did most of them and he did one plus input.  Here are a couple of snapshots from Easter.

On Friday, my friend Rachel came over to make a birthday cake for her husband.  She threw a surprise party for him and needed somewhere to make a cake.  Naturally, I volunteered! Since it was her/his cake I didn't do any of the piping, I just helped make the cake and the icing and advice on decoration.  It was a red velvet with cream cheese frosting... and the frosting was about the best thing I've ever tasted in my life!

 The party was Saturday and was a lot of fun! We did things like 3 legged races and a version of ultimate frisbee etc.  We were late because I was taking a final, but apparently the surprise was a success :) And we had a lot of fun at the parts that we were able to stay for.
