As Evan said, "You're going home already? But you were only here for like a day! You got here Friday night and now you're leaving! (Sunday afternoon)"
Friday we spent time at the Strobel's house with all of the relatives. Out of my visiting family, Mom, Dad, Marc, Steph, Karsten, Megan, Nathan, Evan, and Grandma Foulk were all able to come out to Idaho. It was nice to relax, play with babies and cousins, and chat with one another.
Saturday was a beautiful day. We spent a lot of time playing outside with the babies and got some good shots in our mini photo shoot. We also dyed Easter eggs, made some pies, had a barbecue with all of the cousins, and played some games together. I can't include all of the pictures that we took on here because there are so many. But I thought it would be fun to share a google web album of all of the shots.
I'll include some of my favorites on here. But if you'd like to see them, here they are: Easter 2014
These little plastic egg decorations were a big hit with the babies!
Karsten looking mischievous!
And checking out those eggs
"I LOVE THESE EGGS!"
Jimmie and Mommy
Having so much fun together
Jimmie decided to crawl up on me until he knocked me over while I was taking pictures
Third time on the grass....still not liking it!
Until he got a bit more coaxing from Mommy. He still didn't love it, but he crawled on it! Which is much more progress than he's made in the past :)
A cute Oxborrow candid
Steph and Karsten. Love this shot!
Karsten loved Grandpa's hat! Poor little light blue eyes had a hard time opening them all the way because it was so bright :)
Every chance he got...he was into the basket of plastic eggs!
Looking cute with Aunt Meg!
Helping to dye eggs...
"Oh, maybe I'll just eat it.."
And then we color on it...
Or, just eat the crayons. That works too :)
Sitting in Grandpa's big green chair
Found an Easter egg from the Easter Bunny on Sunday morning!
Going for an egg...
Later on Easter, just before we left, Jimmie had some tummy troubles and was not a super happy guy. The drive home was pretty long, but we got there! Took much longer than anticipated, but that's okay! He is still feeling a little sickie, but overall, much better.
A final shot of all of the eggs.
We made a lot of fun memories this year. It was cool to be able to have Easter with lots of family and to watch Jimmie play with them again.
Jimmie's favorite toys from the Easter bunny are a pinwheel and a slinky. So entertaining!
I wasn't able to get a lot of pictures of things like dying eggs and the egg hunt/Easter basket since I was trying to wrangle a very mobile 10 month old and enjoy Jimmie's first Easter. Steph, Mom, and Megan I believe got some other good shots so we may see those around eventually :)
We have a big week coming up with Aunt Kim coming to visit, family coming down from Idaho for graduation, and an early birthday party for Jimmie...so I thought that I'd get this post in before I have a bunch to post! Can't wait til next year's Easter when Jimmie is older and old enough to understand and get excited for it. It will be a lot of fun!
Such fantastic pictures! Looks like everyone had a great time!
