Happy 2 Months Jimmie!

It's so great that he's growing so well...a healthy and strong little boy.  It's so fun to watch him reach little milestones everyday and see how he is different one day to the next.  But slow down little man! You're growing up just a little too fast for Mom.  

Jimmie turned 2 months on July 31st.  We were particularly excited about this birthday because July actually has 31 days like May does (and June didn't)!  Jimmie went to his 2 month appointment on the exact day and what do you know... this little chubster weighed in at 12 pounds! The nurse was impressed when I told her he started at 6 lb 10 oz.  He's gaining like a champ.  He started in the 9th percentile for weight and now he's in the 59th! Woohoo! He's also 22.5 inches long and getting a little too tall for some of Mom's favorite jammies on him. We've officially packed away all newborn clothes and some of the 0-3 month things (though we're still squeezing into some of our favorite outfits!)

I'm not going to post about all the new little things he's doing because I think I've done an okay job of posting as we go along.  I'll put some videos up soon of some of the things he's accomplished like swatting at toys, etc.

I really just wanted to share some pictures of our 2 month photo shoot that we had.  We got some really funny ones again.  Jimmie, you make some cute and funny faces!  

As always, because I'm the queen of indecisiveness, here are a thousand pictures for you.

"Hey, what's going on over there with that big black thing against your face, Mom?"

Here's my favorite thing.  Nala was freaking out and wanted attention next to the chair... And this is the face I got from him immediately after.  I promise you these two pictures are right next to each other in the order of pictures on my camera.  I literally laughed out loud when I saw this.

"Can we be done now Mom?"

Yes, yes, of course.  Well Jimmie, I'm not very good at getting cute, smiling, monthly pictures of you, but I am good at getting random, bored, and funny faces out of you for these pictures.  I'll take it :) You're adorable no matter what you do, you big 2 month old!
