Wax Museum in California

We went to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.  It was very realistic and just SO much fun.  You're allowed to touch them, just not their hair or face.  Marc and Steph had never been their either and they loved it as well! It's normally like $25, but there was a Student discount and a resident discount none of us paid much more than 10 bucks which was excellent! I took a few "self" pictures with the figures (where you hold the camera or phone arms length out and take a picture with someone) and I realized at the end of the day, some of them look SO real!  It's crazy!  The lighting on some of the pictures are not the best, but they looked awesome in real life.

Love this one! Haha, it's so good!

Well, those are just a few of the great fun that we had!  There were loads more figures, but those were some of my favorites.  The rest of our trip I didn't take many pictures.  Friday & Monday consisted of making the 10 hour drive each way.  Saturday is when we did all of the Hollywood stuff.  That night we went to a really awesome and delicious bakery called Porto's--it was awesome!  Sunday consisted of church and hanging out.    Other than that we played a lot of games and enjoyed each other's company. Thanks for a fun time Steph and Marc and for letting us stay there!

  1. LOVE this post. Some of those waxworks look so real. I loved the Jack Nicholson one and Robin Williams looks totally real. Mark and Brittney and you and Marty Scorsese look amazingly true to life as well. FYI, the "looking good shot" is Robert Redford and Paul Newman (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid). You probably knew that, but in case you didn't....there you go. What a fun time!!
